Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu addressed a Joint Session of Congress as the representative of the people and the State of Israel – America’s ally and partner, and the only democratic state in the Middle East.
More than 80 Senators and Congressmen didn’t want to hear it.
Maybe they’re unhappy with Israel’s security choices or the failed Gaza pier or the outing of UNRWA as terror-adjacent. Maybe they think there is a negotiated settlement to be had between Israel and, and, and whom? Surely, they know by now that the cowards of Hamas – three times designated in the US as a terror organization – manipulated the “Palestinian people,” creating the catastrophe of Gaza by building military facilities and hiding under their human sacrifices. And Hamas & its supporters organized the protests on American college campuses. Only the most naïve – or most venal – don’t understand that Hamas, like its sponsor Iran, is openly and violently anti-American as well as anti-Israel and antisemitic.
For them we note that the Prime Minister made an important statement about the world we live in. “Our enemies are your enemies, our fight is your fight, our victory will be your victory.”
