The Jerusalem Post revealed that in a message sent by former IDF Chief of Staff, MK Gadi Eisenkot, and his opposition colleagues, to MK Yuli Edelstein, who is Chairman of the Knesset Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee, indicating that the military power of Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad has been restored to the point where Hamas now has over 25,000 and PIJ has over 5,000 armed terrorists.
It is shocking to wonder how so many have been recruited, trained, armed and been connected to various fighting divisions and units without any interference or disruption by the IDF.
Possibly the ceasefire played a part but the implications that, given the opening of a new war, the IDF will be almost starting from scratch.
There have been reports that Hamas is reduced to recruiting boys from the age of 16. Bear this in mind when your media tells you that Israeli soldiers are killing Palestinian children.
There is also a report that a cocky Hamas is planning no less than another invasion of Israel, albeit in a more confined and concentrated manner.
This was admitted by Defense Minister, Israel Katz, who said, “Hamas has sustained a heavy blow but has not been defeated. There are ongoing efforts for its recovery. Hamas is constantly gearing up to carry out a renewed infiltration into Israel similar to 7/10.”
Add to this the revelation of released hostage, Tal Shoham, who told Fox News that “Hamas never stopped digging tunnels, not for a single day.”
Clearly Gaza remains a Palestinian terror Metropolis and an industry of death.
Jewish deaths.
And Israel is gearing up for round two, the knock out round, under a new IDF Chief of Staff, who deploys a different form of warfare.
A heavier, tougher, ironclad, form of warfare, led by tanks and armored divisions followed by infantry to occupy captured territory, and not by surgical special ops operations and withdrawals as we experienced in round one.
In other words, if Hamas does not release all the hostages, lay down their weapons, and withdraw, get ready for the knockout war.
What is happening now is the softening up process.
In the last week, the IDF have hit specific targets hard.
They reflect a continuation of the Lebanon example of Israel initially going after the leaders, commanders, and command centers.
In a recent post, I listed the names of top Hamas members that were targeted and eliminated in their homes and command centers.
One specifically was Rashid Gachgoah who was the Hamas counter-intelligence chief.
The significance of this target was that, among his duties, was eliminating any opposition to Hamas in Gaza. Meaning any leaders or clans that opposed Hamas.
